Unofficial street parties ignite upon hearing the news.

I know Crab Football teased you all with a new website many moons ago, in fact, like a lusty lady of the night I believe we hitched up our skirt some two months ago and taunted your bloodshot eyes with a tantilisingly beautiful logo of a crab against a football badge, an image seemingly crafted by angels versed with photoshop and so dazzling that it surely could not have belonged to our wordpress site……

You were right.

It belonged to this, our new flagship website which we predicted would set sail on the 1st of October. Which was then put back to the 7th October. And then the 14th October. And then we just took the post down because it got plain silly.

Of course we weren’t to know that illness, stupidity and plain ‘ol bad luck would strike and that the website was a long way off.

So for a while time our wordpress site lay dormant and the website we promised didn’t materialise.

Then our hard drive storing the website blew up. Which was just darn right rude.

So, after lots of swearing and finger pointing, a few man tears and after repairing a broken hard drive from youtube tutorials (not easy – these things don’t like dust – it was like a scene from The Hurt Locker but just more tense) we at Crab Football are proud to present our new website.

We hope everyone enjoyed the old site and it’s evolution over three roller coster months. I’d like to thank you all for reading, the simple fact that we had 50,000 readers in our first month will live long in the memory, and I’d like to thank Nicolas Anelka for not suing us.

However that site was the Michael Owen of websites, done us proudly in it’s day but it was time to put it out of it’s misery, so welcome to the future. We know there will be some teething problems with this new site so please let us know of any major cock ups, also it will take a little time to transfer the archives from the other site but this will all be done in time.

Exciting times are ahead we hope, with plans for such things as dipping our toe into different types of media especially with the World Cup bearing down on us – and if getting this site up and running is anything to go by, we should be ready in time for 2014.

So if you have any comments or suggestions or articles then please contact us. On behalf of Team Crab thanks again.

I like .Nice banner ,although I belive my earlier suggestion that the Crab crap onto a chosen victim still stands.Shouldn’t Rafa be pointing the guns at his head and his foot ?Arsene brandishing a knife ?I think a handbag should be more appropriate.Keep it real and thanks for the laughs.Cheers.

To his credit, Snyder seems to have realized that most of his decisions were terrible. The signing of Allen as GM and perhaps Shanahan as coach may bode well for this once storied franchise….
